The Art of Creation Exhibition at
Western University

February 25 - May 1, 2026

D.B. Weldon Library Room 113, Western University

1151 Richmond Street, London ON, Canada

About The Exhibition

At Western, the Exhibition is presented in collaboration with Western Libraries, the McIntosh Gallery, and the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. Together, we are creating an interdisciplinary experience that connects students, researchers, clinicians, and the broader university community.

Hosted at Weldon Library, the Exhibition brings together art and reproductive and developmental

science to create a space on campus for reflection, learning, and conversation

about early development and healthy pregnancies.

During its time at Weldon Library, the Exhibition may include:

• Guided tours for undergraduate and graduate students

• Workshops integrated into course programming

• Public lectures and panel discussions

• Opportunities for dialogue between artists, scientists, and health professionals

Scientific context is provided alongside each piece to support understanding while keeping the experience accessible to all visitors. We invite the Western University community to engage with the science of early life through visual and embodied experience and to consider how early development shapes lifelong health.

Location: Weldon Library, Western University
Dates: February 25 – May 1 2026

Open to students, faculty, staff, clinicians, and members of the public.

No prior scientific background is required. The Exhibition is designed to make early life science visible, understandable, and personally relevant.
